CTIA Compliance
The Cellular Telecommunications Industry Association (CTIA) is a trade association that represents the wireless communications industry in the US. The CTIA puts out messaging principles and best practice guidelines for businesses using SMS to communicate with their customers.
To allow us to remain in compliance with CTIA best practices, community members will be given the option to “opt-out” of text messaging the next time a district message is sent out.
The opt-out message, which you will only receive once, will be from our website provider Apptegy, and will include the following statement:
Welcome to Apptegy Messaging for LPS and RSD6; 10 msg/month Msg&Data Rates May Apply. Reply HELP for help and STOP to cancel.
If you would like to continue receiving messages, you do not need to act.
If at any time you wish to opt-in/out at a later date, you can do so by contacting the school office.
