Dear LMS and LHS School Community, 

  • Marking Period lll: will begin on Monday, January 29 and Report Cards for Qtr. 2/Semester 1 will be distributed to students during advisory on Monday, February 5th. Grades can also be viewed in PowerSchool. 

  • Spirit Week: will begin on Monday, January 29 with Pajama Day! Tuesday is Music through the Decades, and Wednesday, Mega-Multiplicity Day! Thursday is Blue & White Day (students in grades 7, 9, & 10 wear white, and grades 8, 11 & 12 wear blue. Faculty and staff can wear either color! Bring your best school spirit and support for LHS basketball home games vs Wamogo high school next week. 

  • Cowboy Hat Fundraiser: Beginning Monday, January 29, and all next week, the Class of 2024 will be selling white cowboy hats for $10.00. Cowboys hats will be available for purchase from Mrs. Patti O’Neill, Senior Class Advisor, in Room 114, or email; oneillp@lpsct.org  All proceeds benefit the LHS Class of 2024. Thank you for your support!

  • Community Movie Night: hosted by the Class of 2025, will be held on Friday, February 9 in the LHS Gym. Disney’s Frozen will be shown at 6:00 p.m. and admission is $5.00. Proceeds will benefit the LHS Junior Class.

  • Talent in Town: Litchfield Music Parents will hold their annual Talent in Town fundraiser on Saturday, February 10 at 6:00 p.m. in the LHS Cafeteria. This annual fundraiser highlights student talent performances for the school community. Light fare and beverages will be provided and served by Music Parents. Admission is at the door. Snow date is scheduled for Sunday, February 11 at 2:00 p.m.

  • Auditions for Talent in Town:  Auditions are being held in the choral room on Wednesday, January 31st.  Interested students need to sign-up for a 10-minute audition time (with Mr. Porri and Mr. Perkins) using the sign up sheet posted on the chorus room door.   • Volunteers/Donations for Talent in Town: Anyone wishing to volunteer and/or donate food or silent auction items, can do so here.
