Dear LMS and LHS School Community,
LHS Mid-Term Exams: scheduled high school mid-term exams run from January 23 - 26, 2024. Both middle and high school will operate on an 11:00 a.m. early release schedule during exam week. Marking Period III will begin on Monday, January 29, B Day. Monday, January 22 will be a full day of school for students.
LMS Conferences: will be held in person with a scheduled conference time during January 23 -26, 2024. Students will be released at 11:00 a.m. on conference days. Monday, January 22 will be a full day of school for students.
MAP Testing: will be held January 23 - 26 for middle school students. Please see the email sent home to parents/caregivers for more information about the Measures of Academic Progress test.
Community Movie Night: hosted by the Class of 2025, will be held on Friday, February 9 in the LHS Gym. Disney’s Frozen will be shown at 6:00 p.m. and admission is $5.00. Proceeds will benefit the LHS Junior Class.
Talent in Town: Litchfield Music Parents will hold their annual Talent in Town fundraiser on Saturday, February 10 at 6:00 p.m. in the LHS Cafeteria. This annual fundraiser highlights student talent performances for the school community. Light fare and beverages will be provided and served by Music Parents. Admission is at the door. Snow date is scheduled for Sunday, February 11 at 2:00 p.m.
Volunteers/Donations for Talent in Town: Anyone wishing to volunteer and/or donate food or silent auction items, can do so here.
Auditions for Talent in Town: Auditions are being held in the choral room on Wednesday, January 31st. Interested students need to sign-up for a 10-minute audition time (with Mr. Porri and Mr. Perkins) using the sign up sheet posted on the chorus room door. See or email Mr Porri or Mr Perkins should you have any questions.
Cowboy Hat Sale: The Class of 2024 will be selling white cowboy hats during the week of the final rival games against Wamogo, as a fundraiser for the senior class. Cowboy hats are $10 each and will be available for purchase January 29 - February 2, 2024.
