Dear LMS and LHS School Community,
Here are a few reminders for upcoming activities and events at LMS and LHS.
Service Project: National Honor Society students will assemble afghans to be donated to Litchfield Community Services. NHS is hosting this event for any student who would like to be involved today, from 2:30 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. in the library.
TSA Ornaments: TSA students will be selling handmade wooden ornaments this coming week. Proceeds will benefit the Technology Students Association club.
Holiday Performance: The Litchfield High School Chamber Choir and instrumental group will perform a holiday concert at Brandywine for their residents, and for students at Center School on Thursday, December 21st.
Friday Fun Day: fundraiser hosted by the Class of 2025 for students in grades 4 - 6 at The Litchfield Community Center on December 22 from 12:00 p.m. to 3:30 p.m. Admission is $5.00, and students need to complete a permission form to attend.
Friday LMS/LHS Performances: on Friday, December 22, students in grades 7 - 12 will attend a performance by the LMS/LHS Choir and Band/Jazz bands in the gymnasium, followed by ‘winter break’ games for all students. All LMS/LHS students will be released from school at 11:00 a.m. for the winter recess.
Winter Recess: will have an early dismissal on Friday, December 22 at 11:00 a.m. for middle and high school students, and runs through January 2nd. LPS will reopen on Wednesday, January 3, 2024.
