April 2023

Dear LMS and LHS Community:

  • College Decision Day:  As seniors transition to the next chapter in their lives, we invite them to join us in our LHS College Decision Day event on Monday May 1st . We are asking seniors to wear a piece of clothing that represents their college choice. LHS staff are also asked to wear a piece of clothing that represents their college alma mater. As a way to honor our seniors a large map has been posted in front of the Counseling Office and will be updated to show where all our seniors have selected to attend next year.

  • Senior Graduation Cap and Gown Photos: Litchfield Hills Photography will be at LHS on Thursday, May 4 and Friday, May 5 to take pictures of seniors in their cap and gown, which will be used for yard signs and placed along Plumb Hill on Graduation Day. Seniors can view their time slot for photos in the Class of 2023 Google Classroom, or outside Mrs. O’Neill’s classroom. Please reach out to Mrs. O’Neill or Mrs. Knox with any questions.

  • LHS Graduation Lawn Signs: The Class of 2023 is once again partnering with Murphy Boys for a graduation yard sign sale.  Two styles of signs are available at different price points.  Scan the QR code or click on the link below to purchase with a secure payment through the online store.  The store will close at 11:59 PM on Friday, May 5th.  The estimated delivery to LHS is Monday, May 15th.  Please contact Patti O’Neill at oneillp@lpsct.org with any questions. 2023 LHS Graduates - Yard Sign Online Store
