Moving-Up Ceremony: for 8th grade students and families, will be held on Wednesday, June 14 at 5:00 p.m. The ceremony will be held outdoors, and in case of inclement weather the event will be moved indoors.
Class of 2024 Tag Sale!: on Saturday, April 22, from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. Come by the high school cafeteria for some serious treasure hunting and enjoy a nice, hot cup of coffee and fresh baked goods from our bake sale table
Earth Day Celebration: LHS Environmental Science students, Litchfield families, and members of the community are invited to attend the 2023 Litchfield Earth Day Clean-Up and Celebration on Saturday, April 22nd. A community clean-up event will run from 9:00 a.m. -12:00 p.m. Visit litchfieldparkandrec.com or call the parks and rec department at 860-567-7569 to select an area in town you would like to volunteer to clean. Safety vests, trash bags, and disposable gloves will be distributed at the Litchfield Community Center at 9:00 a.m. Any families who participate in the clean-up event will receive a Meraki food truck voucher, sponsored by the Litchfield/Morris Rotary Club. Return to the community center from 12:00pm - 2:00pm for food, games, live animals, crafts, and to learn about local environmental initiatives and sustainable practices from over 20 Litchfield-based non-profit organizations.
Krispy Kreme Donuts: Fundraiser for LHS Class of 2026 runs through Monday, April 24. Donut orders must be picked up on Saturday morning, April 29 at Wamogo High School. Price per dozen is $13.00 and orders can be placed by emailing Leah Smith, Class Advisor at: smithl@lpsct.org
LMS Semi Formal Dance: sponsored by LMS/LHS PTO for Litchfield Middle School students, will be held on Friday, April 28 at the Litchfield Fire House from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. Suggested donation is $10 at the door. Snacks and beverages will be provided. Not open to students outside LMS.
AOK Touch-A-Truck: fundraiser for Litchfield Acts-of-Kindness Club (AOK) on Saturday, May 20 from * 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. at Litchfield High School. Event is open to the public. (*event time has been changed.
2023 Graduation: At the recent BOE meeting, the graduation date for Class of 2023 has been approved for Friday, June 16, 2023. Graduation ceremony will be held at 6:30 p.m. at Plumb Hill Fields. Rain date on Saturday, June 17- time to be determined.
