Dear LMS and LHS Community:

  • 2023 Graduation: At the recent BOE meeting, the graduation date for Class of 2023 has been approved for Friday, June 16, 2023. Graduation ceremony will be held at 6:30 p.m. at Plumb Hill Fields. Rain date on Saturday, June 17- time to be determined. 

  • LHS Players Present: Musical production of Mama Mia! Opens tonight, March 17 & 18 at 7 p.m. and on Sunday, March 19 at 2:00 p.m. in the Wamogo Auditorium. Tickets are $10 at the door. 

  • LHS Winter Sports Awards: High school student athletes and families are invited to the annual Winter Sports Awards to celebrate teams and individual success throughout the winter season on Monday, March 20 at 6 p.m. in the LHS gym. 

  • SAT Test Day: on Wednesday, March 22 all members of the junior class will be taking the State of Connecticut School Day SAT. This year's exam is digital, therefore all students will need to bring their school-issued device to school fully charged. Students should also bring their chargers as a backup.   • Interact Club Fundraiser: Flocking is back! Students can pay $5.00 to have a classroom “Flocked” with pink flamingos and pink ribbons. Fundraiser runs through the month of March and proceeds benefit Americares. 

  • FBLA State Conference:  Future Business Leaders of America students will be attending the annual FBLA State Leadership Conference on March 15 at Naugatuck Valley Community College in Waterbury, competing with chapters throughout the state in business-related events. 

  • Class of 2024 Tag Sale!: LHS Class of 2024 will hold a tag sale to raise money for class events on Saturday, April 22, from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m.  Come by the high school cafeteria for some serious treasure hunting and enjoy a nice, hot cup of coffee and fresh baked goods from our bake sale table. If you have items you would like to donate to the tag sale, please stop by the cafeteria from 2 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. on Friday, April 21, and members of the class will help you unload your car.  We can accept everything except cribs and bedding.  Contact class advisor Sandy Carlson at carlsons@lpsct.org with any questions.

  • AOK Touch-A-Truck: fundraiser for Litchfield Acts-of-Kindness Club on May 20 from 12 p.m. to 3 p.m. at Litchfield High School. Event is open to the public. See Touch-a-Truck flier for more information.
