Important Reminders/Dates:

Coming up next week...

McCormick Mile

The McCormick Mile is an annual LIS event started in 2009 and is in remembrance of our beloved former nurse, JoAnne McCormick, who passed away the following year from pancreatic cancer.

This year, on November 22nd, students and staff will once again be able to gather TOGETHER on the Plumb Hill Track to walk/jog/run a mile! We are so grateful to be able to come together to celebrate friendship and good health!

We would like to encourage the whole school, staff and students, to wear purple on November 22nd for Pancreatic Cancer Awareness. It would be greatly appreciated if you could include this information in your communication to your students and families.

A very special thank you to our local Stop & Shop has graciously once again donated apples for students to enjoy after our special event.

Snow Monster Visit

NBC's Ryan Hanrahan will visit LIS with the Snow Monster on Tuesday, November 22!
