HOUR OF CODE

Did you know? December 6-12 is Computer Science Education Week, an annual call to action to inspire K-12 students to learn computer science, advocate for equity and celebrate the contributions of students, teachers and partners to the field.  All elementary schools will be celebrating by holding a joint all-school Hour of Code on 12/10 from 2-3 pm in which all elementary students, across both districts will code at the same time.  This celebration is being held as a kick off  "Two Districts Innov8", our annual two districts celebration, which will commence in the spring with a Day of Innovation across the schools.

Message from Ms. Cordani:

Just a friendly reminder, should your child receive a Covid-19 vaccine, please forward the updated vaccine record to cordanit@lpsct.org.

Thank you.

CCMC PJ DAY

This year, LIS staff and students will participate in our second PJ DAY FOR CCMC.  This fundraiser benefits the children at Connecticut Children's Medical Hospital.  To participate on Friday, December 10th, please wear your PJs to school.  If you would like to donate, the link is below. This is an online fundraiser.  We ask for $1.00 but any amount is wonderful!  Thank you for your support and for helping the children at CCMC.
