It’s hard to believe that it’s that time of year again, the McCormick Mile! The McCormick Mile is an annual LIS event started in 2009 and is in remembrance of our beloved former nurse, JoAnne McCormick, who passed away the following year from pancreatic cancer.
This year, on Tuesday, November 23rd, students and staff will once again be able to gather together on the Plumb Hill Track to walk/jog/run a mile! We are so grateful to be able to come together to celebrate friendship and good health!
We would like to encourage the whole school, staff, and students, to wear purple on November 23rd for Pancreatic Cancer Awareness.
Please wear comfortable walking/running shoes and warm clothing
