Preschool registration has begun. We are hosting a parent information session on January 18th at 6:00 PM at Center School.  Parents and children are invited to visit the classroom on January 25th from 4-4:30 or 4:40-5:10. Please see the website to RSVP.  Families with children who will be three or four years old on or before January 1, 2024 are welcome to attend.

Our Kindergarten Ready, Set Grow program will take place on January 25th at 6:00PM at Center School.  This is an opportunity for parents and caregivers to meet the kindergarten staff and learn about our program.  Registration materials will be available.

Good afternoon Superintendent Chris Leone,

Senator Murphy invites your students to participate in his Office’s annual Martin Luther King Jr. Essay Contest. We ask students from elementary, middle, and high schools from across Connecticut to participate in honoring the legacy of Martin Luther King Jr. by submitting essays that reflect on Dr. King’s dream, their own aspirations, and the importance of what Dr. King means to them.

Submissions are now open and must be received by Saturday, January 7th at 11:59pm. Essays can be submitted online or mailed to our Hartford Office.

Essay instructions can be found via this link. Once you click the link, you will need to download the files. You are encouraged to distribute this link to your school community.

We look forward to reading and reviewing your student’s work! If you have any further questions, please contact Erin McBride at 860-549-8463 or email at MLK_Essay@murphy.senate.gov.

Best Wishes,

Erin McBride
