Dear Center School Families,
Even though it was a short week, we certainly had many exciting events! John Pudlinski and the LVA visited with Santa on Monday. The students each received an elf of their own. On Tuesday, the Litchfield High School Choir and Band came to share their music with us. The Center School staff sang the teacher version of the 12 Days of Christmas. As usual, the staff was amazing and the students enjoyed all the performances. On Wednesday, all students participated in a “Special Special” with the grade level coming together to enjoy more seasonal music.
Preschool registration and parent information sessions will be held in January. Please see the website for more information. Families with children who will be three years old on or before January 1, 2024 are welcome to attend.
Please see the important information regarding the change in the breakfast and lunch program. Starting in January there will be a charge for students for breakfast and lunch..
I hope everyone enjoys the holidays! We will welcome students back on Wednesday, January 4th.

Good afternoon Superintendent Chris Leone,
Senator Murphy invites your students to participate in his Office’s annual Martin Luther King Jr. Essay Contest. We ask students from elementary, middle, and high schools from across Connecticut to participate in honoring the legacy of Martin Luther King Jr. by submitting essays that reflect on Dr. King’s dream, their own aspirations, and the importance of what Dr. King means to them.
Submissions are now open and must be received by Saturday, January 7th at 11:59pm. Essays can be submitted online or mailed to our Hartford Office.

Food Services If you would like for your child to receive breakfast at school, please sign up using this form. The food service program needs to track the breakfasts provided, so you must order by 7:45am daily. You can also order for the full week ahead of time.
