Dear Center School Families.
Friday, September 30th is our next school spirit day. Students will be counting and redeeming their tickets for special activities. We ask that everyone wears their “I am the future” t-shirt or any Litchfield clothing.
Yesterday, we sent home information regarding a vision screening that will be performed by the Litchfield Lions Club. If you would like to have your child participate, you must send the completed form back to school by October 3rd. If you have any questions, please contact the school nurse.
Earlier this month we practiced our fire drill today, we practiced our safety lockdown. Students new to the building are learning our procedures and others are continuing to practice.
As the weather changes and more inclement weather is coming, just a reminder that our doors open at 8:25 for Preschool and 8:30 for Kindergarten through Grade 3. We will be outside for recess as long as the “feels like” temperature is more than 20 degrees. Please dress your child in layers as it is colder in the mornings now.
Students will have one snack per day in the classroom. Please send in a snack that students can open independently and can be eaten in a timely manner.

If you would like for your child to receive breakfast at school, please sign up using this form. The food service program needs to track the breakfasts provided, so you must order by 7:45am daily. You can also order for the full week ahead of time.
