Center School Weekly Update

June 21, 2022

Dear Center School Families,

Happy first day of summer and last day of the 2021-2022 school year! I want to thank each of you for sharing your children with us each day and allowing us to be a part of their lives.

We wish Roe Cook and Joanne Moore all the best as they start their new adventures in retirement.  They have each been a part of Litchfield Schools for more than 30 years.  Their contributions are immeasurable and they will be greatly missed!

Congratulations to our Third Graders as they move up to Litchfield Intermediate.  You are so ready for the next chapter in your education!

Ashley LaBonte and her husband DJ LaBonte built a Little Free Library to honor Joanne.  It will be installed at Center School for the community to enjoy.  Thank you Joanne for sharing your love of books and reading with us!

There is a picture slideshow in the science Google classroom that you can view with your child.

Report cards were sent home today.  In August, we will email you your child’s class placement for the fall.  We will also be sending home contact information for you to confirm or update as needed. The first day of school for Grades K-3 is Monday, August 29th. The first 2 days of school will be early release days for students.
