Weekly Update - Friday, 4/8/22

Dear Center School Families,

As we begin planning for student placement for the 2022-2023 school year, we ask that if there is something about your child that you would like us to consider, that you complete the form in the Virtual Backpack and return to the Principal no later than April 30th.

If you need to bring your child to school after 8:40 or pick up before 3:15, we ask that you come into the school office.  We are happy to welcome you back into the building!

Center School is on the move this spring.  We have field trips planned for each grade level.  If you would like to chaperone, you must be on our volunteer list.  Please click here to access the form.  All field trips are in-state so fingerprinting is not required.

As the weather improves, students have more activities they can participate in outside.  Please refrain from sending students to school with toys or trading cards.  These are difficult to monitor and we are not responsible for any missing items.

From LHS Relay for Life

Litchfield High School’s fourth annual Relay for Life event needs YOU! Bring in your spare change in the weeks leading up to spring break (from April 4-14) and drop it in the collection jar set up for your grade level in the cafeteria. All the money goes to the American Cancer Society, and the grade that collects the most change by April 14th will be awarded a special prize!

School Climate Survey

Helping students do their best in school requires a team effort. Parents, students, and schools all play important roles in this process. To help all of us learn how to make your child's educational experience as positive and beneficial as possible we ask that you participate in this school climate survey.

Please follow the link provided to complete this year’s survey. You will be prompted to enter a school access code. Our school code is 4856450818

Climate Survey Link: https://surveys.panoramaed.com/lps-rsd6

We encourage you to  give us your honest, thoughtful responses to these questions. This family survey is anonymous.

If you have children in multiple schools, you should receive separate emails with access codes specific to the school buildings.

The survey window closes on Friday April 29th, 2022.

From the Curriculum Office

Dear Families, Your child will participate in the annual climate survey in April. Students in third grade through twelfth grade will have the opportunity to provide the school with feedback on school climate and their overall perceptions of their educational experience. If you have any questions or concerns, please contact the school office.

A reminder that Kindergarten registration is taking place now.  Please see the link on our website for forms and information.  If you have any questions, please reach out to Kristen Murray in the school office.

Please remember to check out our Virtual Backpack for Community Opportunities and School Handouts.  Click here.

Please complete the Google Form (at the beginning of each week or daily if you prefer) so that we can have breakfast ready for your child.  Click here for the form.
