As the weather and the time are changing, it is a good reminder to have your child dress appropriately for school and outdoor activities. Our classrooms continue to have windows open a bit for proper ventilation so the temperature in the rooms will vary. Students will be going outside as long as the “feels like” temperature is above 20 degrees.
Veterans Day
On Wednesday, November 10th, the students and staff of Center School will recognize and celebrate Veterans Day. Unfortunately, we will not be able to honor our Veterans in-person, but we would still like to offer a way for them to be included.
We would also like to honor all veterans from your family by placing a star bearing their name and service branch on a Wall of Honor outside the gymnasium. In addition, we are looking to share pictures of our veterans during our celebration. If you would like your veterans picture to be included, please email or send in a picture by November 8th. This gives all Veterans an opportunity to be recognized. Our email address is Centerschool@lpsct.org.

Next week we will have Parent/Teacher conferences. All parents and caregivers should have received a link for a virtual conference. The teachers are excited to share your child’s progress and ways we can work together to ensure your child’s academic success.

Tuesday, November 9, early release at 12:15, Parent./Teacher conferences in the afternoon

Students can wear RED, WHITE and BLUE to celebrate our Veterans.

Holiday Assistance Application - Litchfield Public Schools
Please review the information and instructions below before completing your survey.
Each year the Litchfield Public Schools works with the town social services and area donors to support families and school-aged children in need, by connecting them to resources designed to meet essential needs and holiday wishes.
Submissions and responses are managed by Litchfield Public Schools district school social workers ONLY. Responses are kept strictly confidential. Once your application is submitted the school social workers may reach out to you for further questions and coordination of pick up dates and locations.
**This form must be completed by Friday November 12th**
By completing this online holiday assistance application, you consent for this information to be confidentially utilized by our two district school social workers to create your holiday needs baskets.
