Dear Center School Families.
Conferences will be here before you know it. Please use the link found here to sign up for a conference with your child’s teacher. Conferences will be held March 20, 21 and 22. We hope all families will join us so that we can share your child’s progress and areas of growth.
In order to celebrate our love of STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, Mathematics), the Center School Specials Team is pleased to announce that we are planning to hold our annual STEAM Workshop Academy on Wednesday, March 13th, 2024. Have a hobby or interest that you’d love to share? An area of talent or expertise that you just know kids would love to learn about? We need you! Pre-Kindergarten applications for the lottery are due by February 27. Please share this information with any friends or family who have children who will be at least three years old by September 1, 2024. The program is for 3 and 4 year olds. You can find more information on our Region 20 website.
We will be hosting a St. Jude Fundraiser on February 29. Your child is welcome to wear their PJs. If you would like to contribute, we will have a collection on the 29th or you can contribute online. https://fundraising.stjude.org/site/TR?px=8301649&fr_id=155060&pg=personal
All students in Kindergarten-Grade 5 participate in recess on a daily basis. All buildings have outdoor recess if the "feels like" temp with the windchill is 20 degrees or higher. We do not have outdoor recess on early release/delay days. There may be times when there is ice or water covering the play areas that may move recess to another location.
The LMS Players along with the Region 6 Players will be performing The Little Mermaid on March 1, 2 and 3. Please click here for more information.
Center School is participating in our annual Kids Heart Challenge. We are having a blast learning how to keep our hearts and minds healthy and happy. Food Services
If you would like for your child to receive breakfast at school, please sign up using this form. The food service program needs to track the breakfasts provided, so you must order by 7:45am daily. You can also order for the full week ahead of time.
